Ok, it’s not really our app. We use Spond to manage club membership and events, and also to provide the more official club communications and event invitations and so on. Terrible name but the app is ok, and also free:

Soon there will be help pages here, but really all you need to do is install the app and either follow the invitation you received, or enter the code WYLKP to join the BCR group

You can find more information and links at https://spond.com. It’s a general purpose club-organising app that doesn’t cost much and does most of the right work for us.

Once that initial setup is done, you can get the club’s events to come up in your calendar. It’s also possible to start and join discussions and polls; we don’t do that much because really, who needs another messaging app? Go out for a run. But it’s possible.

The calendar page on this website is automatically synced from Spond but it doesn’t include some private club events or other special occasions, and the app makes it easier to pick and choose which events appear in your own personal calendar.
